Hmmmm… — June 17, 2017

I have no idea what to post about. I’m in the middle of several books, one of which is a really good one that I’ve barely started, but it’s good so far. So, I’ll give you a quote.

“A penny saved is a penny earned.”

“Early to bed, early to rise.”

And finally,

“You must do the thing you cannot do.”

That’s it for now. I’ll post again some other time.

The Girl Who Drank the Moon — February 27, 2017

The Girl Who Drank the Moon

One of the most recent books I’ve read is The Girl Who Drank the Moon. It’s about a village called the Protectorate. Every year, they sacrifice a baby to the Witch that lives in the Bog. What they don’t know is that the worst type if Witch of all is living among them. A Sorrow Eater. This story mainly revolves around a young girl named Luna, who was sacrificed to Xan, the good Witch that lives in the Bog. Luna is fed moonlight on accident and becomes enmagicked. It’s a really good book, and I recommend that you read it!

Pearls Before Swine — January 22, 2017

Pearls Before Swine

Pearls Before Swine is a comic strip written by Stephan Pastis. He inserts himself into the strip, and also makes it so the characters know they’re in a comic strip. Some of the characters are: Rat, Pig, Goat, Larry the Croc, Zebra, Neighbor Bob, the penguins, and the lemmings. It’s a really funny strip, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

El Deafo — January 5, 2017

El Deafo

El Deafo is the Story of a young girl named Cece Bell. El Deafo is also written and (I think) illustrated by Cece Bell. I like it because it’s about Cece’s struggles to fit in with her hearing aid after she goes deaf,  and there aren’t many books like that that deaf people can relate to. Cece also made every single character a rabbit, and they’re all designed differently. I’d like it more if it was longer and continues Cece’s story past where it ends. Maybe just to college…

Percy Jackson’s Greek Gods — January 2, 2017

Percy Jackson’s Greek Gods

I’m not sure about you guys, but I love mythology! My favorite mythology author is Rick Riordan. He’s written Magnus Chase, Percy Jackson, Kane Chronicles, and several other books and series. My favorite is Percy Jackson. That series has several companion books that aren’t in the series. One is Percy Jackson’s Greek Gods. This book tells stories about the Greek gods, from Percy’s perspective. It includes stories about Demeter, Zeus, Aphrodite, and Athena. Go ahead and read it! Try it out and tell me what you think.
